Kites are designed for pulling you up hill, jumping and landing safely at the summit. Kites are NOT designed for flying because eventually something can go wrong. However there are ways to accomplish this skill. So this tutorial is designed to limit the risk and cover topics that can help an already experienced rider fast track to master the skill of jumping upwind (Hill Gliding). So many things can go wrong if you attempt to fly upwind. Accidentally pulling the bar wrong, accidentally going into a horizontal rotation, pendulum swing disorientation. But with the correct coaching, clean and dynamic explanations you too can learn this new skill.
